Terms of Service

These Terms of Service (“Terms”) govern your use of the SceneIt website and mobile apps (together, the “Service”). By creating an account or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, please do not use the Service.

Your account

• You must provide accurate information and keep your login details secure.
• You are responsible for activity that happens under your account.
• You must be old enough to use the Service in your country (at least 13).

How SceneIt works

SceneIt lets a host create a private party and invite guests, who capture photos and short video clips into a shared vault. Content stays sealed until the host releases the party. Hosts spend credits to create parties; credits are purchased in packs and one credit creates one party.

Credits and payments

• Credits are a digital item used only within SceneIt. They have no cash value and are not redeemable for money.
• Purchases made in the mobile apps are processed and governed by the Apple App Store or Google Play, and their refund policies apply. Purchases on the website are processed by Stripe.
• Except where required by law, credit purchases are non-refundable once a credit has been used to create a party.

Your content and conduct

• You retain ownership of the photos and videos you capture. By sharing content into a party, you grant the other members of that party the ability to view and download it, and you grant us the limited rights needed to store and display it for the Service.
• You are responsible for the content you capture and share, and for having the consent of people who appear in it.
• You agree not to upload content that is unlawful, abusive, harassing, hateful, or that infringes the rights of others, and not to misuse, disrupt, or attempt to gain unauthorised access to the Service.

Shared vault

Once a party is released, its content is shared with all members. You can remove a released party from your own view, but content that you contributed remains available to other members until everyone has removed it. You cannot delete other members' contributions from the shared vault.

Termination

You may stop using the Service and delete your account at any time. We may suspend or terminate accounts that violate these Terms or that we reasonably believe pose a risk to the Service or other users.

Disclaimers and liability

The Service is provided “as is” without warranties of any kind. To the fullest extent permitted by law, SceneIt is not liable for any indirect, incidental, or consequential damages arising from your use of the Service. Nothing in these Terms limits liability that cannot be limited under applicable law.

Changes to these Terms

We may update these Terms from time to time. When we do, we will revise the “Last updated” date above. Continued use of the Service after changes take effect means you accept the updated Terms.

Governing law

These Terms are governed by the laws of Ireland.
