Child Safety Standards

SceneIt has a zero-tolerance approach to child sexual abuse and exploitation (CSAE), including child sexual abuse material (CSAM). These standards explain what is prohibited on SceneIt, how anyone can report it, and how we respond. They apply to everyone who uses SceneIt, everywhere the service is available.

Our commitment

We prohibit any content, conduct, or use of SceneIt that sexualises, endangers, or exploits children. We act on reports quickly, remove offending content, disable the accounts responsible, and report apparent CSAM to the relevant authorities, including the US National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) and/or local hotlines and law enforcement, as required by law.

What is prohibited

The following are strictly forbidden on SceneIt:

• Child sexual abuse material (CSAM) in any form — images, video, or audio.
• Sexualisation of a minor, including sexualised text, comments, or captions.
• Grooming, solicitation, or any attempt to sexually exploit, contact, or meet a child.
• Sextortion, or sharing or threatening to share intimate imagery of a minor.
• Child trafficking, or facilitating or advertising the exploitation of a minor.
• Links, usernames, or off-platform references intended to distribute or obtain CSAE material.

Who can use SceneIt

SceneIt is intended for adults and is not directed at children. In line with our Terms of Service and Privacy Policy, SceneIt is not for use by anyone under 13, and we do not knowingly allow children to create accounts or appear in shared content in a way that breaches these standards. Where a stricter minimum age applies in your country, that age applies.

How SceneIt is designed to reduce risk

• Accounts require a verified email address and a unique display name — there are no anonymous accounts.
• There is no public feed or discovery. Party content is only ever visible to the members a host has invited, and only after the host releases the party.
• Direct messages are restricted to users who have mutually accepted a friend request, which limits unsolicited contact from strangers.
• Hosts review and can remove any content before a party is released, and reported content can be removed at any time.

How to report CSAE

If you see content or behaviour on SceneIt that sexualises or endangers a child, please report it to us immediately at support@sceneit.ie. Include a description and any links, usernames, or party details that help us locate it. Reports are treated as a priority and can be made confidentially.

If a child is in immediate danger, contact your local emergency services first. You can also report directly to the US National Center for Missing & Exploited Children (NCMEC) at report.cybertip.org, or to your national child-protection hotline.

How we respond

• We review CSAE reports as a priority and remove offending content.
• We disable and ban the accounts responsible and take steps to prevent them returning.
• We preserve relevant evidence and report apparent CSAM to NCMEC and/or the appropriate authorities.
• We cooperate with law enforcement and comply with applicable child-safety laws.
